[Summer of Color... week four...] plus a girl or two...

Week four of the

'Summer of Color' challenge...

 and this weeks colors were...

Red + Red + Metallic...

Yes....

I felt challenged again... lol

so...

I decided to keep it pretty simple...

red paint... red pencil...

and a silver metallic pen scribbled through her hair

and around her cheek...

the words read...

'A pop of sparkle was all she needed'..

and I thought whilst I was posting that

I would share a couple 

of

recent drawings...

this one a birthday card

for a very dear friend..

[Summer of Color... week three...]

Week three of the

Summer of Color challenge....

was to use

purple + purple + yellow...

Now purple is far from a favorite color for me...

I so rarely use it...

in fact I even struggled to find purple

in my stash of art supplies...

but here she is...

we made it through :)

Nice to be pushed out of my comfort zone...

Summer of Color 5 challenge...

so here are week one and two together...

 

The challenge for week one was...

 

blue + blue + green...

 

I had actually forgotten just how

challenging it was to limit your color palette...

but I guess that is the whole

point of it :)

 

anyway

 this is how my finished page looked...

 

She's feeling a little blue...

 

and then the color palette for week two was...

 

pink + pink + orange...

 

I couldn't resist the fluro...

 

okay... back on track now :)
